The server restarts at 2 AM and 6 PM Eastern Time daily. This results in a short period of downtime, so if you get a 502 error at those times, that is why.

You can't link to an image from your own computer.  You have to upload it to a website first.  Flickr allows a limited amount of free uploading, for example.  There are many sites out there.
