I was just thinking about all the numbered routes I've ever been on.  I was going to do all the states I've been to, but that would be too long, and I don't remember all of them. As it is, it took me about an hour to compile this list.  Here's a list of mine (I'm sure I'm missing some):

Interstates:

  • 81 (clinched)
  • 86
  • 87
  • 88
  • 90 (clinched, except for the free portion in Albany)
  • 99 (clinched) (future)

At least 5 people apparently do, or they wouldn't have posted.

Rather than post a huge table, though, I'll just link to this, though I need to fix my list...I do have all of I-35 and I-35E clinched.

I have- it's cool to see what other people have done. You apparently don't care, so why continue reading and posting in the thread?

I haven't really nailed down the routes I've been on in either of my "home" states, California and Virginia, other than that I've been on all the Interstates and most of the U.S. routes in each.  Most of my California travels were when I lived there long ago, and reconstructing from memory my travels on that state highway network (not to mention the numerous numbered county routes) would be a real headache.

Simpler for Hawaii and Alaska.  I've been on at least part of every one in Hawaii, including numbered county routes, except the newest state route which opened after my last visit there  I've also been on at least part of every numbered state route in Alaska except the isolated Petersburg segment of AK 7.  Of course, Alaska has only a dozen numbered state routes.

That is a totally irrelevant and illogical response. If you have nothing germane to the topic at hand, perhaps you should find another discussion that you DO find interesting.

NE2, posts like that do not contribute to the forum and should be avoided. You should know better than to do things like that by now.

Moving on now...

I've been on so many in California, I couldn't possibly think of all of them. Been on nearly every SoCal numbered highway, as well as nearly all the ones in the Bay Area and the Eastern Sierras.

US71

I'd have to sit with a map to figure out how many I've been on.

Clench-wise I have the following:

US:
59, 70, 71, 371, 62, 270, 65, 64, 49, 271

State (AR) in no particular order
45, 112, 16, 255, 22, 27, 43, 103, 94, 102, 72, 12, 23, 10, 68, 265, 295, 59, 162, 282, 348, 180, 47, 21
