There was an old Arkansas shield on e-bay a week or so back. Sadly, I didn't win it.

It sold for around $300.  It was a   State 144 Road embossed shield.

10 years ago it would have been $50 to cover the cost of the scrap metal and the shipping.

yes, the route 1 is for some reason a wider shield.  it's also slightly older, made with 1970s EG sheeting that is yellow instead of pure white.  the others are all 2000-2005 or so vintage.  all are in excellent condition but clearly used.

Currently in possession of two Louisiana shields. One is LA 524, an old alignment of US 165, and the other is LA 953, a road that has since been decommissioned as a state highway. The LA 524 one is green-and-white, and in really good condition, and the LA 953 is a black-and-white sign that has a giant warp in it from laying on the side of the highway (was literally pulled up along with the post and thrown onto the abandoned railroad bed below).

Looking to trade! Trying to get a pretty good variety, and I have a few Arkansas state Interstate shields and Mississippi shields coming my way.

I want to keep some of these signs, but for the right amount of money I'd sell any of them besides the I-49 and the US 59.  I would have to go pick up the signs, but if I had several offers on the table I could make a quick trip up there and get them.  PM me if  you're interested and make me an offer.

There used to be a decent flea market where Joplin & Webb City meet that would have signs, but the place closed a few years ago. I picked up a rectangle  TT  ( --TT--> ) along US 63 a few years back... just south of the MO line IIRC.

I got my MO 59 sign from a junkyard on AR 59 about 1/4 mile south of the Missouri line.

i pretty much know my asking prices...but as i have said elsewhere, i am not interested in making a pile of money as much as just moving some of these guys to new homes...so you may find them quite reasonable

EDIT: If there is something you truly want, make an offer....you might be surprised!
