Does anybody have a NY 27 sign for sale or know where I can get it made for less than $50?

I can make one for 99 bucks.  You may be able to have a standard NY state contractor make a modern shield cheaper, as my price is for a fully customized route marker, while theirs would be part of a batch run of near-identical shields.

I do not know who the standard contractors are for NY state - your best bet may be to look on the back of the sign for a manufacturing sticker.  Here in CA, Safeway Sign identifies their product.

-A state named interstate shield from all 50 states and DC (except for ME, NH, VT, CT, WY, and GA)
-A state route shield of any style from all 50 states (except for ME, VT, MA, PA, CA, and AL)
-A Quebec Autoroute shield
-Any of New York State's parkway shields
-A green Maryland business US route shield
-A PennDOT town/city/county/etc. line sign
-A PennDOT little white quadrant route sign
-An NYSDOT reference marker (doesn't matter which style)
-A New Jersey Turnpike shield
-A Garden State Parkway shield
-An Atlantic City Expressway shield
-A Pennsylvania Turnpike shield (either an old 16" flat or embossed shield or a more modern distance trailblazer)

I'm not big into them but I would like a genuine I-80 from Pennsylvania, preferably from the timeframe 1969-70 when the highway was completed.

A bonus would be the "Keystone Shortway" banner which was blue with white lettering to match the interstate signage and the same size as the banner or arrow.
