Washington Post seeking DC-area road sign photos
« on: February 10, 2012, 03:23:59 PM »

Dr. Gridlock's blog has an entry entitled "Wanted: Pictures of odd, unusual[,] or confusing signs."

It leads to this photo gallery (only two images as I type this, though I submitted several).

Figured some folks here might have something to submit. I don't have a picture of the notorious "Potomac Ave St SW" sign near Nationals Park, unfortunately, but I did submit one that said "Potomac St SW" (it's Potomac Avenue).

I guess the G UNIT signs might qualify as unusual?

Off the top of my head I'm not sure what you're referring to, although I'm sure there's some joke going right over my head here.
