Her death has been announced this evening. This is so shocking. She was such a talented woman and will surely be missed.

I'm not surprised at all.  In fact I'm surprised she lived this long.  Crack is wack.

Actually, she was a guest at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy Awards party at the hotel. There was the expectation that she might perform at the party since she was rehearsing for it. I don't think she was actually on the program to perform at the actual ceremony though.
