Due to the lead contractor's recovery efforts from the road damage caused by Hurricane Irene last year, the northern segment of the Bennington Bypass will be opened sometime in August 2012 instead of July 2012 (as scheduled).

This is one that I would have put into the 'never see built in our lifetimes' thread.  Very interesting!

Haven't been down that way since last spring (it's 3 hours south of where I live).  Haven't seen anything on its opening on either WCAX, the AOT web site, or on 511vt.
