Last time I had the lead, we were just about to head to a plate track (Talladega).  The wheels fell off and the engine blew up.

Now we're staring the Daytona slot machine square in the eyes.  Better enjoy the lead while I can.

Hopefully, mefailenglish did not select Paul Menard... first engine failure of the night.

However, you seemed to pas the curse over to your significant other. You know what they say about what happens when the Mrs. isn't happy....  :fight:

But since I got more points than you, you are getting more distanced from me :pan:, even if Logano didn't finished the race. And this is thanks to Johnson's win.

Segment scoreboard:
1. (1.) Leudimin (Me ), 1,106 points (+159)
2. (3.) kshighways (route56), 1,081 pts (+181) (Runner-up)
3. (2.) jcm9572 (mefailenglish), 1,066 pts (+144)
4. (4.) 6018555 (flaroads), 1,057 pts (+160)
5. (5.) jlyben9174 (Alex's wife), 990 pts (+114)
6. (6.) AARoads (Alex), 905 pts (+146)

Overall. 3rd leader change in a row:
1. (2.) 6018555 (flaroads), 2,705 points (+160)
2. (1.) jcm9572 (mefailenglish), 2,690 pts (+144)
3. (3.) jlyben9572 (Alex's wife), 2,647 pts (+114)
4. (4.) kshighways (route56), 2,610 pts (+181) (Runner-up)
5. (5.) Leudimin (Me ), 2,560 pts (+159)
6. (6.) AARoads (Alex), 2,244 pts (+146)

Finally I got back my computer and Firefox with it, so no more of shitxplorer to update. Next week is at Loudon NH, back to a better schedule for me.

Yeah, but don't forget these things are unpredictable. You could be in the lead one minute, then last the next. Unless you are me.

Alex

Yup burned by three of my drivers (again). Just cannot pick anyone worth a crap...

Congrats to Vickers, he's fought hard to get back in victory lane.

CNGL-Leudimin

I've crashed, too :ded:. And I get out of the segment leadership. But at least I've got only one DNF. And no matter how bad I perform, I always throw at least one point of difference over Alex :sombrero:.

So now, the scoreboards.

1. (4.) 6018555 (flaroads) 1,230 points (+173) (Runner-up)

Next week no Nascar race. Racers come back on 28th at the world famous speedway located at... You guessed it, Speedway IN (near Indianapolis).

With no race next week that means I get to enjoy my win today, the segment lead, and the lead overall for an extra week!!

CNGL-Leudimin

You will be back down on 2nd place after next race

With the race in the brickyard being held tomorrow, I decided to troll the ESPN Guru by choosing exactly the same team he has. Good luck to all!

How do you know that I have the same team as I did two weeks ago??? lol

You could have very well trolled for nothing! haha

Plus, if you have the same drivers as me, you will gain no ground in your pursuit to topple me... :-P

I don't know your team. It just happened I have chosen the same drivers as Mark Garrow.

Looks like I had a better strategy than Leudmin, but flaroads is tonight's LOSER

FTFY, I had the same team. I should be back in top of segment now (Since I have overtaken flaroads), but instead I lost another place :banghead:. And as always I keep trowing more points between Alex and me, but at least Alex is now sightly closer to the leader. And mefailenglish has got a load of points, breaking the 200 point barrier for the first time ever! (I believe the highest possible score is somewhere above 210).

Segment scoreboard:
1. (3.) kshighways (route56), 1,408 points (+195)
2. (4.) jcm9572 (mefailenglish), 1,395 pts (+203) (Wow, crazy score!!!)
3. (2.) Leudimin (Me ), 1,381 pts (+165)
4. (1.) 6018555 (flaroads), 1,378 pts (+148)
5. (5.) jlyben9176 (Alex's wife), 1,317 pts (+183)
6. (6.) AARoads (Alex), 1,163 pts (+149)

5. (5.) Leudimin (Me ), 2,835 pts (+165)
6. (6.) AARoads (Alex), 2,502 pts (+149)

Next week we return to Long Pond PA. They should build some new raceways in order not to repeat venues.

I have it as 214, with the breakdown as follows:

47 - winner (including bonus points for winning and leading the most important lap)
42 - 2nd
41 - 3rd
40 - 4th
39 - 5th
4 - 2nd-5th each led at least one lap
1 - Any driver in top 5 led the most laps
Peace to you, and... don't drive like my brother.

Indeed, I totally bombed that race. I only got to see the first 30 or so laps so I never got to see or hear what happened. All I found out this morning was Jeff Burton was dead last (and he is my sleeper driver).

But I am not worried too much about it. We all have a bad race once in a while. As long as I lead the overall, I could care less about anything else! lol  :D

I made a couple of changes to my initial lineup after qualifying.  Needless to say, both paid off handsomely.

I didn't get to watch one second of the race.  I was on a special excursion train rolling through SW PA coal country.

FLRoads

I've been trying real hard this year to not make any changes to my lineup during the segment as that burned me big time last year. I might have to bend my rule a little bit though to keep my overall lead... :)
