Branching off yet again from the Shortest Lanes thread, and possibly getting into Off-Topic territory:

(Spin the 45' angle option around, and you'll see a car making an illegal left from the other direction!)

Post other examples of drivers doing something they oughtn't, traffic control-wise, that have been captured on aerial imagery, Street View, and so on!

Look at the articulated bus heading eastbound on Butchtel. The lane the driver is in turns into the parking garage. Assuming the driver wants to enter the bus loop, he needs to turn at the second entrance.

(Note to all: Unclick the 45' angle option in order to see the bus.)

I wonder if the parking garage permits busses.  If you look closely, you can see two bus dropoff/pickup spots right up against the train station.

I would hope a city bus driver would know the route! Sure...it could be an fill-in, but in this case I think it's a legit movement.

Sorry about the 45 degree link.

At this station, the parking garage entrance leads directly to the second floor, above the bus loop. Buses stop at four bays on the first floor, along a counter-clockwise roadway. Even if a bus tried to enter the parking garage, there is no way it could clear the very restricted clearances found in the parking structure.

Seeing how no bus route would enter from the west in regular service, it is possible that the bus is for training future operators. In this case, somebody probably won't be driving buses for a living anytime soon...

PHLBOS

Seeing and reading the above, reminds me of the opening line in the CBS TV show, Person of Interest by Harold Finch (Michael Emerson); You Are Being Watched!

So I gather that this view: http://goo.gl/maps/Jmz3n shows the bus loop entrance, and that the Do Not Enter signs say something like "except buses" in the middle line?

Yes, the "Do not enter (buses excepted)" sign is a common sight in RTD park-n-rides around here.
