Huh?  How is that any more correct?  In fact, it's worse!

nah, the neatest shield since embossed I've seen is this Arizonachrome:

I colorized it based on a b/w photo and Michael Summa's verbal description.

what's AZ swastika 84 have to do with Florida US 41?  Hmm, let's go with 'both have an outline around the number'!

and yes, that is a postwar swastika shield!  I suppose one term in the German surrender was "all symbols revert to previously accepted ideologies".

on the one and only Route 66...

the only time I've ever seen a genuine highway marker with the word "ROUTE" on it ... Mojave County Highway Department issue; and it looks like they got into Bobby Troup just a bit too literally!

Keeping with the 66 theme...

Contrary to popular belief, 11th Street and Admiral weren't the only stretches of US 66 in Tulsa .  Skelly Drive (I-44) was part of US 66 for many years and in fact was the final routing of US 66 when it was decommissioned in 1985.  Skelly Drive is truly the Rodney Dangerfield of US 66 alignments.  This is actually a historic sign, as the circle 66 has been replaced by a meat cleaver.

Add one to 366 and you get 367:

This part of AR 367 is the original alignment of US 167.

Change 3 to 2 and you have old US 67

This also belongs in erroneous signs!
