Bayshore Boulevard
Bayshore Boulevard runs along the west shore of Hillsborough Bay from MacDill Air Force Base north 6.8 miles to the couplet of Brorein and Pratt Streets across the Hillsborough River at Downtown Tampa. Through the Ballast Point neighborhood, Bayshore Boulevard comprises a two-lane through street. North from Gandy Boulevard, the boulevard expands into a four-lane roadway through the Bayshore Beautiful, Palma Ceia, Bayshore Gardens and Hyde Park communities. Ramps connect the urban arterial with the bridges to Davis Island.
Bayshore Boulevard north from Bay to Bay Boulevard to Brorein Street is a part of the annual Gasparilla Parade of Pirates route. The parade takes place annually during the winter.
