County Road 197A

Three short sections of County Road 197A are posted in Santa Rosa County. Two connect with U.S. 90, with the western branch following Woodbine Road north through Pace and the eastern portion along Bell Lane at Pea Ridge. A third CR 197A links CR 197 (Chumuckla Highway) south of Jay with Downtown Jay at SR 4, 3.24 miles to the north.

Within Downtown Jay, CR 197A turns from the end of Spring Street onto Commerce Street to adjacent SR 4. No signs are posted for the county road here.

The lone traffic light in Jay operates at the intersection of Commerce Street and State Road 4 in Downtown. SR 4 travels through the heart of Jay from Century to the west and Berrydale to the southeast.

Bell Lane carries CR 197A two miles north to a staggered intersection with U.S. 90 opposite School Lane north. U.S. 90 heads west to Pace and east to Milton.

Woodbine Road carries all 3.73 miles of County Road 197A through the Pace community. The county road ends at a five-way junction with County Road 197 (Chumuckla Highway) north to Jay, County Road 184 (Quintette Road) west to Escambia County and County Road 184A (Berryhill Road) east to Milton.
