There are two sections of Bay County Road 2293 in the Lynn Haven and Panama City area. The 1.196 mile long western segment links County Road 2321 with U.S. 231 along Titus Road. The eastern branch follows John Pitts Road 1.995 miles from County Road 2315 (Star Avenue) to Old Majette Tower Road at Majette Park. CR 2293 along John Pitts Road replaced Florida Secondary 390.
Located within the limits of Panama City, Majette Park was established by Bay County on the the former Bay Dunes golf course property. The 220-acre site was previously the Majette Landfill, and developed as a golf course in the 1980s. Bay Dunes closed in August 2016. Bay County Commission approved reclassifying the site as a public park on May 2, 2017.1
