
There are two sections of CR 269 posted in Gadsden County. The southern segment runs 5.01 miles north from SR 12 (Bristol Highway) along Pine Grove Church Road to CR 270 (Sycamore Road) near Sycamore. An implied overlap with CR 270 links the southern leg with the northern leg along Little Sycamore Church Road. Measuring 9.56 miles, CR 269 joins CR 270 with Rosedale, Hardin Heights and U.S. 90 (Washington Street) in the city of Chattahoochee.

CR 269A dog legs north along Chattahoochee Street to connect with Lincoln Drive south. The 3.41 mile long loop provides an alternate to CR 269 south to CR 268 near Rosedale.

CR 269 (Main Street) leaves the Chattahoochee city limits south of River Road. Reassurance markers posted at Main Street and River Road were removed by 2016.

The I-10 guide sign directing traffic from CR 269 (Bonnie Hill Road) south onto CR 270A (Flat Creek Road) south was removed by 2011.

A 10.88 mile long route east to SR 12, CR 270A branches south from CR 269 to a diamond interchange (Exit 166) with Interstate 10.
