Hillsborough County Road 672
County Road 672 runs across central Hillsborough County along two legs. The western section lines Big Bend Road east from the Manatee Viewing Center and Dickman Road 4.02 miles to U.S. 301. This stretch expands into a suburban arterial between U.S. 41 and U.S. 301, meeting Interstate 75 midway. An $81.7 million project underway from early 2022 to Summer 2025 rebuilds the folded diamond interchange at I-75 with new ramps from CR 672 to the freeway northbound while modifying existing ramps to improve geometry and capacity.
One and a half miles to the south of Big Bend Road, the eastern segment of CR 672 begins from U.S. 301 at Paseo Al Mar Boulevard. Measuring 11.85 miles in length, CR 672 transitions from suburban areas along a rural course east to Balm, Picnic and Hillsborough County Road 39.

Unsigned County Road 672 (Big Bend Road) leads east from the Big Bend Power Plant and Dickman Road to U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail).

Hillsborough County Road 672 is signed on green signs from U.S. 41, but otherwise is not posted along Big Bend Road leading east. The four lane arterial nears Covington Garden Drive, a road leading south to new subdivisions west of Interstate 75.

A north side frontage road ties into Big Bend Road opposite to Covington Garden Drive from the Kings Lake subdivision and the East Bay High School and Eisenhower Middle School area.

A loop ramp joins big Bend Road east with Interstate 75 north to Tampa (via I-4 or SR 618 west). A new ramp paralleling the north side of CR 672 will replace this loop during 2022-25 road work.

Nearing the intersection with U.S. 301 on CR 672 east. East of U.S. 301, Big Bend Road continues toward Summerfield Crossings and Tropical Acres, large swaths of tract housing.
