Pinellas County Road 691 - Haines Road
Haines Road comprises an urban major collector northwest from Magnolia Heights in St. Petersburg 3.09 miles to U.S. 19 in Pinellas Park. Branching northwest from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Street N, Haines Road passes between the Harris Park and Grovement neighborhoods in St. Pete to 22nd Street N. Haines Avenue forms a one way couplet with 22nd and 23rd Streets N to connect with 50th Avenue.
County Road 691 commences west along 50th Avenue from 22nd Street N. Haines Road resumes northwest from 50th Avenue just beyond the underpass across Interstate 275. The remainder of the 1.66 mile long route of CR 691 lines Haines Road northwest to Lealman and 34th Street N and U.S. 19.
Historically Haines Road was designated as Temporary route for U.S. 19.
Haines Road was reconstructed northwest from 31st Street N to U.S. 19 (34th Street N) in 2020/21. Bike lanes and sidewalks were added along with new signs acknowledging CR 691, including this assembly north of 62nd Avenue N (CR 216).
