Counry Road 769 - Kings Highway
DeSoto County Road 769 travels 13.36 miles south from SR 72 through a portion of Peace River State Forest to CR 761 at Platt, Lake Suzy and the Charlotte County line. Charlotte County Road 769 continues Kings Highway south into Port Charlotte as a four lane arterial. Kings Highway (CR 769) ends at U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) to the south in Charlotte Harbor.
Kings Highway intersects CR 776 (Harborview Road) to the immediate north of U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail). CR 776 spurs east 4.46 miles to I-75 at Exit 167 and Harbour Heights.
