County Road 888 (Wiggins Pass Road) links CR 901 (Vanderbilt Drive) with U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) in northwestern Collier County. The route is unmarked along Wiggins Park Road, a two lane roadway north of Gulf Harbor and south of Bonita Springs. Collier County GIS files indicate that CR 888 spurs a half mile east of U.S. 41 along the remainder of Wiggins Pass Road.
Wiggins Pass Road was previously designated Florida Secondary 865B, as it connected S-865A with U.S. 41. It was renumbered to S-888 by January 1976.
