State Road 116

SR 116 is a four lane arterial connecting Interstate 295 with Naval Station Mayport in northeastern Jacksonville. The state road begins at Dames Point Crossing / Sunrise Ridge Lane on the west side of the exchange joining Merrill Road with I-295 and SR 113 (Southside Connector). Merrill Road leads SR 116 east to Fort Caroline Road in the Regency neighborhood south of Mill Cove. Fort Caroline splits with SR 116 (McCormick Road) north to St. Johns Bluff. McCormick Road runs between the Holly Oaks neighborhood and Ed Austin Regional Park.

Mount Pleasant Road arcs south between the Cobblestone and Fort Caroline Shores to overtake McCormick Road along SR 116 east. SR 116 crosses Mt. Pleasant Creek ahead of Girvin Road south. Continuing east from there, SR 116 follows Wonderwood Drive over Greenfield Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway to the North Beach community in Jacksonville. SR 116 concludes at SR 101 (Mayport Road), south of Naval Station Mayport and west of the entrance into Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park.

SR 116 begins eastbound along Merrill Road leading into the combination parclo and SPUI complex with I-295 and SR 113 (Southside Connector).
