
A rural highway across St. Johns County, Florida State Road 206 branches east from SR 207 outside Hastings to SR A1A at Crescent Beach. Traveling 14.49 miles overall, SR 206 plies across wetland areas east to Fish Swamp, where it shifts two miles northward through a diamond interchange with Interstate 95. Resuming a due east heading ahead of Moses Creek Conservation Area, the state road intersects U.S. 1 at Dupont Center. The Verle Allyn Pope Bridge angles the route northeast across the Matanzas River to Avenue D and SR A1A on Anastasia Island.


U.S. 1 (Dixie Highway) runs north through suburban areas of St. Augustine Shores to St. Augustine and south along Matanzas State Forest to the western outskirts of Palm Coast.
