State Road 331


Florida State Road 331 forms an arterial bypass around south Gainesville. Extending Williston Road northeast 3.38 miles from SR 121, SR 331 connects I-75 with SR 20/26 east along University Avenue and SR 24 northeast along Waldo Road. The four lane route runs along the north side of Paunes Prairie Preserve State Park between U.S. 441 (SW 13th Street and SR 24A/226 (SE 16th Avenue). SR 24A accompanies SR 331 north for its return to SR 24 through northeast Gainesville.

SR 331 forms part of a truck bypass around Gainesville for traffic heading northeast from I-75 to U.S. 301 at Waldo via SR 24.

The first confirming marker for SR 331 appears north of SR 121 and SW 34th Street. This assembly was replaced by 2022 ahead of commercial development added along the east side of Williston Road.

SR 331 and SR 24A commence south along SE 11th Street from the intersection with SR 24 west combines with SR 20/26 to Downtown Gainesville.
