
Florida State Road 508 lines NASA Boulevard 1.36 miles west from U.S. 1 (Harbor City Boulevard) in Melbourne to Eddie Allen Road and Air Terminal Parkway to the passenger terminal at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB). NASA Boulevard exxtends another 1.43 miles west as an unnumbered arterial to Evans Road, where it turns north along the periphery of the airport 1.40 mles to CR 509 (Wickham Road) at Ellis Road. Ellis Road forms a loop with Saint Johns Heritage Parkway southwest 1.65 miles to U.S. 192 at West Melbourne.
A parclo interchange joining Ellis Road with Interstate 95 was constructed from October 2018 to June 2, 2020. Costing over $11 million, the I-95/Ellis Road interchange project included construction of St. Johns Heritage Parkway extending 2.2 miles northeast from U.S. 192 to Ellis Road. A ribbon cutting even took place on May 26, 2020 on the west side of the exchange. The ramps opened three months ahead of schedule.1
