
State Road 676 lines Causeway Boulevard east from U.S. 41 and U.S. 41 Business through the Palm River and Clair-Mel communities to U.S. 301 near South Tampa. The state road was expanded to urban arterial standards with four through lanes as part of a $42 million project completed by Summer 2010.1



Unsigned County Road 676 along Causeway Boulevard becomes State Road 676 west of U.S. 301. The first confirming marker follows.

A former trailblazer for the Tampa Crosstown Expressway directed motorists onto 78th Street north. Shields for the Crosstown were replaced in 2008 when a new design was unveiled. This assembly however was not retained during the SR 676 widening.

Unsigned CR 573 runs along 78th Street between SR 60 (Adamo Drive) and Riverview Drive. The arterial meets the Selmon Expressway at a partial interchange (Exit 12) to the north.

Westbound reassurance marker posted for SR 676 after the Causeway Boulevard intersection with 78th Street. The state road travels 3.189 miles.

Widening of SR 676 (Causeway Boulevard) included the signalization of the intersection with Maydell Drive. Maydell Drive stems north from 36th Avenue to SR 60 (Adamo Drive) across the Palm River.

SR 676 concludes opposite from the northbound beginning of U.S. 41 Business at U.S. 41 (50th Street). U.S. 41 Business continues Causeway Boulevard northwest between McKay Bay and the East Bay Channel Turning Basin.
