IH 27 drops below 34th Avenue and Tyler Street on the curve west over 36th Avenue (old U.S. 60-87). A three phase project started in September 2021 reconstructed the center median barrier, improved lighting and reconfigured the ramps between Washington and Georgia Streets.1
