Interstate 95 North - Miami to Hallandale Beach

Interstate 95

Broward County was not always its own county. It was formed in 1915 from the southern portion of Palm Beach County and the northern portion of Dade County. Prior to the creation of Broward County, the dividing line between Palm Beach and Dade Counties was located between Commercial Boulevard and Oakland Park Boulevard (Floranada Road in Fort Lauderdale).4
