Interstate 295 North
The longest exit less stretch along I-295 leads northeast through Springfield and Florence Townships. Permanently closed in 2003 due to budget cuts and reports of illegal activities,1 rest areas were located on both sides of I-295 adjacent to Assiscunk Creek. 12/27/18

Interstate 295 diverges from the I-95/NJ Turnpike north beyond Exit 56 toward Trenton. Route 68, a 7.80 mile long highway north from Wrightstown near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (MDL), ties into U.S. 206 just south of the Turnpike interchange. 12/27/18
U.S. 130 returns to Interstate 295 at Exit 57. The two previously separated at Exit 23. The three quarter cloverleaf interchange between the two routes joins I-295 north with U.S. 130 north to the city of Bordentown. 12/27/18
I-295 temporarily ended at Exit 57 until December 1994, when the freeway opened north to I-195/Route 29. U.S. 130 north to U.S. 206 at Bordentown, and U.S. 206 north to I-195 west at White Horse linked the separate sections of I-295. 12/27/18

New Jersey Route 29 stems north as a freeway from I-195/295 toward Downtown Trenton. Vehicles carrying hazardous materials are prohibited from the tunnel opened in 2002 along Route 29 in South Trenton. 12/27/18

Exit 63 utilizes a collector distributor roadway for the ramps to CR 606 (Hamilton Avenue) east and Route 33 (Nottingham Way) west. 12/27/18
Exit 63 A leaves I-295 for Hamilton Avenue and Route 33 east. CR 535 parallels Route 33 into Downtown Trenton via State Street. Eastward CR 535 follows Edinburg Road to Edinburg, West Windsor Township, East Windsor and South Brunswick. 12/27/18

I-295 ended and at the exchange with U.S. 1 until 2018, when the route was extended over what was I-95 southwest to Ewing Township, the Scudder Falls Bridge and Yardley, Pennsylvania. North of Exit 67 A, U.S. 1 travels toward Princeton, Plainsboro and North Brunswick en route to North Jersey. 12/27/18
The Trenton Freeway weaves below grade southwest to the Trenton central business district and a toll bridge across the Delaware River. U.S. 1 enters the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 6.5 miles at Morrisville. 12/27/18
