MD 100 is a suburban freeway running 22 miles east from U.S. 29 in Howard County to MD 177 at Jacobsville in Anne Arundel County. The state route joins I-95 at Elkridge with Baltimore/Washington Parkway near BWI Airport, Severn, I-97 at Glen Burnie and MD 10 (Arundel Expressway) at Pasadena.

Maryland Route 177 / Mountain Road - West
Lane control signals operate on the stretch of MD 177 (Mountain Road) between Lake Shore and MD 100. 10/10/04
Entering the half diamond interchange with MD 100 (Paul T. Pitcher Memorial Highway) on MD 177 (Mountain Road) westbound. MD 100 ends with a wide grassy median at Mountain Road. The expressway links Lake Shore with MD 10 (Arundel Expressway) and Interstate 97 at Southgate. 10/10/04
Mast arm traffic lights at the left turn onto MD 100 west from MD 177 (Mountain Road) west. These signals accompanied a stop sign posted within the median at this time. MD 177 continues west to Jacobsville, Armiger, and Lipons Corner north of the MD 100 freeway. 10/10/04
