MD 122 (Security Boulevard) turns south alongside Dead Run to intersect Ingleside Avenue ahead of Interstate 70. Ingleside Avenue provides access to I-70 west from a nearby ramp.

A Park & Ride facility occupies the Interstate 70 freeway right of way from the MD 122 under pass to the roadway end at Leakin Park.

Cooks Lane connects U.S. 40 (Edmondson Avenue) with the westbound beginning of MD 122 at the Baltimore County line. Pictured here is the Cooks Lane intersection with Briarclift Road looking northwest. Briarclift Road leads southwest to U.S. 40 (Baltimore National Pike) and northeast to Leakin Park.

There is no direct access onto Interstate 70 west from MD 122 (Security Boulevard). Instead motorists must use the Ingleside Avenue on-ramp to the west.
