MD 151 (Erdman Avenue) northbound as it prepares to cross over Interstate 895 (Harbor Tunnel Thruway) and interchange with U.S. 40 (Pulaski Highway). Mapleton Avenue connects Erdman Avenue with the Pulaski Highway eastbound ahead of the Interstate 895 under crossing.

MD 151 (Erdman Avenue) sees a three quarter cloverleaf interchange with U.S. 40 (Pulaski Highway) adjacent to Interstate 895 in the Orangeville community of east Baltimore. U.S. 40 travels west from here toward Downtown Baltimore. U.S. 40 Truck joins MD 151 northbound between the Pulaski Highway and U.S. 1 (Belair Road).

MD 151 (Erdman Avenue) southbound at the Interstate 895 south & U.S. 40 eastbound off-ramp. Erdman Avenue transitions onto North Point Boulevard within the next half mile ahead of the city line. Traffic interests to Interstate 895 & 95 north should take U.S. 40 east to Moravia Road north for its on-ramp to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway.

The Pulaski Highway continues east to meet Moravia Road before departing the city of Baltimore. Interstate 895 (Harbor Tunnel Thruway) continues south to Lombard Street before entering the Patapsco River tunnel.

An older style MD 151 shield lies within the median of Erdman Avenue at the signalized intersection with Macon Street. Macon Street links Erdman Avenue with Monument Street via Lyon Street to the west of the U.S. 40 interchange.
