Route 277

MD 277 lines Fletchwood Road and a portion of Elk Mills Road west 2.51 miles from MD 279 (Elkton Road) and the Delaware state line to Elk Mills. The state route connects with an array of subdivisions, townhome communities and apartments along Fletchwood Road. Further west by the intersection with MD 316 (Appleton Road), MD 277 serves warehouses, a quarry and an elementary school.

2016 MDOT traffic counts along Maryland Route 277 rise from 3,270 vehicles per day (vpd) west of MD 316 to 7,055 vpd east of Appleton Road.

Leeds Road - East

Leeds Road meanders 1.6 miles northeast from MD 545 (Blue Ball Road) at Leeds to the Lanzi Roundabout with MD 213 (Fair Hill Road).

Leeds Road continues a short distance east from MD 213 and the Lanzi Roundabout to Cherry Hill Road (old MD 213) and Elk Mills Road. Elk Mills Road becomes a part of MD 277 in 1.3 miles.
