Route 34
A 26.83 mile route, NJ 34 runs northwest from the junction of NJ 35 and NJ 70 in south Wall township to U.S. 9 at Old Bridge township. The state route travels a four-lane divided highway north from Wall township to NJ 33 ahead of Naval Weapons Station Earle in Howell township.
North
A cloverleaf interchange joins Route 34 north with the east end of Interstate 195 and west end of Route 138. I-195 crosses the state 34.17 miles to Interstate 295 & Route 129 at Hamilton township outside Trenton.

Hurleys Pond Road heads east to Allenwood Road at Hurley Pond and west to Monmouth Executive Airport (BLM). Motorists bound for the Garden State Parkway are directed to U-turn via the jug-handle with Hurleys Pond Road back to Route 34 south.

Route 34 passes by Wall Stadium Speedway southward into the cloverleaf interchange with Interstate 195 west and Route 138 east. I-195 begins here and leads west to Trenton.

As I-195 east ends, Route 138 takes over and extends the route east along a divided highway toward Belmar. A parclo interchange resides nearby providing access onto the Garden State Parkway north.
