A multi state highway New Jersey Route 179 extends PA 179, 7.46 miles northeast from Lambertville to U.S. 202/Route 31 and CR 514 in East Amwell township. The two-lane route follows the pre-freeway alignment of U.S. 202 through Hunterdon County.

The span has a metal bridge deck, a 15 mph speed limit, and includes a sidewalk along the south side.
