U.S. 3 and NH 25 combine in an arc west from Meredith to Ashland and north alongside I-93 to Plymouth. NH 25B (Dane Road) provides a cut off from U.S. 3 east to Center Harbor just ahead of this shield assembly.

This assembly was posted after the split with Shephard Hill Road in the town of Holderness. U.S. 3 & NH 25 (Scenic View Road) wind northward around Shepard Hill along Squam Lake over the next 1.6 miles.
This assembly was removed by 2013.
