 | East of the interchange with Interstate 94, U.S. 20 and U.S. 35 split off as U.S. 35 heads on its 412 mile journey toward West Virginia via LaPorte, Knox, Logansport, Kokomo, Muncie and Richmond. U.S. 20 continues east as a four lane expressway to Rolling Prairie, in eastern LaPorte County, where it switches roles with SR 2 as the four lane route to South Bend. 05/23/10 |
 | U.S. 20 east merges with U.S. 31 south along the St. Joseph Valley Parkway bypassing the city of South Bend. Lincoln Way West continues east along the old route of U.S. 20 to South Bend Regional Airport (SBD) and downtown South Bend. A loop ramp carries drivers onto U.S. 31 north to I-80/90 (Indiana East West Toll Road) and Niles, Michigan. 09/02/05 |
