U.S. 280/431 east meet U.S. 80 (J.R. Allen Parkway) at a half diamond interchange in Phenix City. Collectively U.S. 280/431 and U.S. 80 along J.R. Allen Parkway form a controlled access bypass encircling Phenix City west from Columbus, Georgia. 08/22/03
U.S. 280 east and U.S. 431 south part ways at a parclo interchange with Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. U.S. 431 continues south from Phenix City to Seale and Eufaula and Dothan. U.S. 280 advances east to U.S. 27 south of Downtown Columbus, Georgia and Fort Benning. 08/22/03
U.S. 280 East
The final 0.89 miles of U.S. 280 in Alabama constitute a limited access highway east to the Chattahoochee River. Reconstructed from 1999 to 2003, a folded diamond interchange precedes the Georgia state line with Colin L. Powell Parkway. 05/27/10
A loop ramp links U.S. 280 east with Colin L. Parkway (Broad Street Extension) at 4th Place west to Seale Road. Seale Road is the former route of U.S. 431. 05/27/10
