Hawaii Route 30 Route 30 represents the main access road between the tourist areas of Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kahana with Kahului and Kahului Airport via Route 380 (Kuihelani Highway). The state route generally hugs the coastline from Kaanapali southward to Maalaea. This stretch includes a tunnel between Kamaohi and Mokumana Gulches.

Hawaii Route 31 Route 31 represents 7.15 miles of Piilani Highway from Kihei south to Keawakapu. Piilani Highway east from Ulupalakua is an unpaved roadway designated as unsigned County Route 31, though the highway was originally Route 31. Route 31 also followed Kihei Road west to Route 30 (Honoapiilani Highway), but that stretch was renumbered to Route 310.

Hawaii Route 32 Hawaii Route 32 connects Downtown Wailuku with the central business district of Kahului along Main Street and Kaahumanu Avenue. The short state route is essentially unchanged from its original signing.

Hawaii Route 36 Route 36 follows the western third of Hana Highway from Kahului eastward to Lower Paia, Pauwela and County Route 365 (Kaupakalua Road). The state route used to continue all the way to Hana and the north end of Route 31, but that portion of Hana Highway was renumbered to Route 360.

Hawaii Route 36A Route 36A lines the westernmost section of Haleakala Highway linking Keolani Place (Route 380 south) with Hana Highway (Route 36 west) and Keolani Place entering Kahului Airport.

Hawaii Route 37 Route 37 runss southward from the Kahului Airport area along the western slopes of Puu Nianiau and Haleakala. The state route includes an upgraded expressway portion to Pukalani.
Historically Route 37 continued west from the end at Hana Highway to Route 36 by Kanaha Ponds. A portion of Haleakala Highway through the airport was removed due to runway expansion. A stretch of Haleakala Highway remains west and east from Keolani Place ahead of the airport terminal. This includes a signed stretch of Route 36A.

Hawaii Route 310 A two-lane road straddling agricultural areas, marsh land and Maalea Bay between Route 30 (Honoapiilani Highway) and Route 311 north / Route 31 south (Piilani Highway).

Hawaii Route 311 Linking Kihei with Kahului, Route 311 is one of two expressways (Route 380 being the other) leading north-south through agricultural central Maui.

Hawaii Route 340 County Route 330 (Kahekili Highway) and State Route 3400 (Waiehu Beach Road) come together at Waiehu to form the south end of Route 340. Route 340 continues Kahekili Highway northwest 4.29 miles to become an unsigned county route en route to Honolua.

Hawaii Route 360 Route 360 is the renumbered stretch of Route 36 east along Hana Highway from Kaupakalua Road to Hana. The state route spurs east along an unsigned stretch to end at the wharf by Hana Beach Park.

Hawaii Route 377 A winding route along the slopes of Puu Nianiau mountain, Route 377 loops east from Route 37 (Haleakala Highway) to Route 378 (Haleakala Crater Road), from south of Waiakoa to Pukalani.

Hawaii Route 3500 Puunene Avenue from Route 32 (Kaahumanu Avenue) at the Kahului central business district to Route 380 (Dairy Road) and Route 311 (Mukulele Highway) is Route 3500. The commercial boulevard was originally a part of Route 35.
