Interstate 369 Texas
Overview
Proposed as a 118 mile long spur from IH 69 near Tennaha to Texarkana, Interstate 369 was approved by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) on November 16, 2012.1 Currently only the freeway on the west side of Texarkana is signed as IH 369 with the remainder unbuilt, including the parent route in Shelby County.
The SL 390/US 59 Relief Route is a six mile long freeway around the east side of Marshall planned for inclusion to Interstate 369. Estimated to cost $440 million, Phase I of the project extends south from the intersection joining U.S. 80 and Loop 390 to IH 20 west of FM 31 and a point 1.2 miles south from there. Work may commence in 2025.2
