A 2.7 mile section of Interstate 295 along the Fayetteville Outer Loop in North Carolina opened to traffic today. The new segment extends south from Cliffdale Road south to U.S. 401 (Raeford Road). Construction on the last section of the beltway is scheduled to begin in Fall 2022.
Updated Interstate 140 Tennessee with photos covering both ends from January 2019. The realignment of SR 155/U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) will add a new cloverstack interchange with SR 162 / Pellissippi Parkway southeast of the cloverleaf currently joining the east end of I-140 with U.S. 129. I-140 will be extended southeast to the new exchange, which is currently in the right of way acquisition phase.
