Delaware Route 1 North
This toll plaza sign posted within the diamond interchange (Exit 142) at Boyds Corner was replaced with a new toll schedule sign when variable tolls went into effect on October 1, 2007. 08/05/07

SR 1 passed by this sign for SR 72 south to Delaware City and north to Newark beyond Dragon Creek. 08/05/07
U.S. 13 is not acknowledged for its southbound connection from SR 1 to Dupont Highway at SR 7 north at Wrangle Hill. Between 1995 and 1998, SR 1 between South St. Georges and Exit 152 doubled as U.S. 13 Bypass. 08/05/07
Replaced by 2008, this mileage sign was posted along the U.S. 13/SR 1 overlap where the expressway directly replaced DuPont Highway. 08/10/04
This sign remained from when SR 1 fully opened north from Tybouts Corner to I-95 at Churchmans Crossing. 08/10/04

The first advance sign for Exit 160 was replaced in 2022 with an overhead on a new monotube. 12/19/20
Known as Pulaski Highway, U.S. 40 varies with four to six lanes as a slow moving arterial route between the Maryland state line by Elkton and U.S. 13 at State Road. 08/10/04
Traffic from U.S. 13 south onto SR 1 northbound utilizes an on-ramp from adjacent Bear Tybouts Road, a half mile ahead of Exit 160. 06/17/12
The Clearview replacement of the overhead at Exit 160 made by 2012 was replaced again in 2022 with the installation of a new monotube. 12/19/20
The westbound sign for Elkton along the off-ramp at Exit 160 was missing in 2004 and not restored when the State Road sign was replaced by 2008. It eventually was when the sign for U.S. 40 east was removed entirely. 08/10/04
Corrected by 2008, an erroneous SR 40 shield was posted at the ramp end at Exit 160. Span wire based traffic lights were replaced with mast arm assemblies by 2012. 08/10/04
This sign for SR 1 on U.S. 40 east was carbon copied after 2008, including the somewhat erroneous reference to SR 1 as I-95. The assembly was also the only in Delaware to use the downward facing lighting. 03/27/04
SR 7 was realigned in 1992 via a new access road between Christiana-Stanton Road (old SR 7) and Mall Road to Christiana Mall during road work to build SR 1. 04/03/04
This overhead for Exit 164 was removed in 1997 and restored in 1998. It was permanently removed after October 2013 during the project to construct new flyovers between SR 1 and I-95. 12/18/04
The SR 1/7 pull-through panel at Exit 164 originally displayed Metroform as the control city. Metroform was officially renamed Churchmans Crossing in 1999. The name applies to a geographical area bounded by SR 2 (Kirkwood Highway), SR 273 (Christiana Road), I-95 and SR 7 (Stanton Christiana Road). 12/18/04
