The original toll plazas along the Veterans Expressway did not include provisions for open road tolling. Instead two toll booths were converted to Sunpass lanes. 07/03/15

The Sugarwood Toll Plaza was replaced with an All Electronic Tolling (AET) Gantry as part of the Veterans Expressway widening project underway between 2014-18. 07/03/15

The Veterans Expressway traverses an area of wetlands to the west of Rocky Creek, one mile north of Exit 8 with Wilsky Boulevard south. An overhead assembly replaced this ground level sign by 2015. 07/03/15
