Interstate 70 Missouri - West

The formerly reversible Express Lanes for I-70 in St. Louis ended westbound at Exit 244A. 10/16/04

An interchange sequence sign posted one quarter mile ahead of MO 180 was revised by 2012 to show I-270 as 1.5 miles away instead of two. Additionally Maryland Heights Expressway was added for Exit 231, reflecting completion of the MO 141 route south to Chesterfield. 10/16/04

Older mileage signs on I-70 spelled out Interstate junctions. 10/16/04

With expansion of Exit 232 to two lanes from I-70 west, sign replacements were at I-270. 10/16/04

This button copy overhead was posted one mile ahead of Exit 220 with Missouri 79 north and Salt Lick Road south on Interstate 70 west at the Mid Rivers Mall Drive overpass. 05/03/12

A lane drop occurred at the Missouri 79 off-ramp (Exit 220) until sometime after 2004. I-70 maintains four through lanes west to Exit 217 now. 10/16/04

Center alignment of the Exit 216 tab was retained in the replacement sign for Bryan Road. 10/16/04

Replaced overhead signage at Exit 219 on I-70 west. Belleau Creek passes under the freeway just east of the overpass. 10/16/04

Sign changes made at Exit 214 added Boulevard to Lake St. Louis. 10/16/04

A ground level button copy sign was posted two miles ahead of U.S. 40/61. 10/16/04

One mile east of the directional cloverleaf interchange with U.S. 61 (Avenue of the Saints) north and I-64/U.S. 40-61 east. Guide sign changes reflecting I-64 replaced Wentzville with Chesterfield. 10/16/04

The old button copy sign for U.S. 61 was temporarily positioned during construction to upgrade Exit 210. 10/16/04

A new loop ramp was added for U.S. 40 east / U.S. 61 south (Exit 210A) after 2004. It replaced this ramp and its left-hand turn. 10/16/04

Sign changes were made along I-70 west for Exits 8B/A for Interstate 435 during construction in 2011. 10/17/04

These signs were also replaced by arrow per lane (APL) signs during the 2010-12 I-70 and I-435 interchange reconstruction project. 10/17/04

A lane drop formerly occurred along Interstate 70 west at Exit 8A for I-435 south. A third westbound lane opened by early 2012. 10/17/04

Approaching the 1950s-built Manchester Bridge spanning the Blue River, UP and KCS Railroad lines. These viaducts were replaced by 2015, and ramps for Manchester Trafficway redesigned. Sign changes made prior to the work replaced the I-670 reference and added U.S. 40 for Exit 7A. 10/17/04

A new APL sign replaced this assembly at Exit 12 in Kansas City during the Manchester Bridge Project. 06/18/15
