Interstate 275 Florida - South

A short drive carries Florida 60 west northward to the northbound beginning of the Veterans Expressway. Signed as Florida 589, the four to eight lane toll road joins Tampa with Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties, providing both a commuter route for the sprawl of Pasco and a long-distance route to U.S. 19 and 98 from Homosassa and Crystal River northward to the Big Bend. 07/10/11

Exit 39 consists of a two-lane off-ramp onto Florida 60 (Memorial Highway) west. Florida 60 provides a connection to Tampa International Airport (TPA) and the Courtney Campbell Causeway west to Clearwater. 07/10/11

This overhead for SR 60 west at the Exit 39 gore point was replaced after a year or so in service. The new assembly no longer includes lighting. 08/22/15

Southbound mileage sign that touted St. Petersburg and Largo along the north causeway portion of the Howard Frankland Bridge. Largo represents the control point of Florida 688 west, the first Pinellas County exit. This sign was knocked down by April 2009 and subsequently removed. 07/30/06

Guide signs for SR 682 / Pinellas Bayway were replaced along I-275 southbound by 2018. 08/05/14
