A mileage sign on the approach to U.S. 17 (Main Street) with distances to both Blount Island (via SR 105) and Jacksonville area beaches (via SR 202). This sign was removed by 2011 when an additional lane was added to the East Beltway. 07/04/06
Historic assembly for the prior end of Interstate 295 and the continuation of its counterpart SR 9A at the Main Street overpass (Exit 36). The SR 9A designation was used from this point along open segments of the East Beltway around east Jacksonville until late 2011 when Interstate 295 formally replaced it as the primary designation. Florida 9A remains the hidden component on the entire 61-mile beltway. 07/04/06

Construction was evident in this dated scene for the upgrade of the SR 9A/202 exchange. This was the final leg of SR 9A and the East Beltway to be completed. Here an advance auxiliary sign indicated the approaching ramps for SR 202 west and east. 07/04/06
