The two mile guide sign for U.S. 13 pictured here replaced a damaged sign in 1999. A "Right Lane Must Exit" placard was added below the sign by 2012. 03/23/04

A lane drop occurs along I-495 at Exit 5 to U.S. 13 (Philadelphia Pike) at Claymont. Two lanes continue onto Interstate 95 north at the state line. Overheads posted here were replaced by 2012. 03/23/04

This sign bridge for Exit 6 was taken down in 2014. A monotube was finally added here in 2017. 12/23/12

Additional replaced signs that were posted at the Myrtle Avenue overpass along I-495 north. Myrtle Avenue connects U.S. 13 (Philadelphia Pike) with the Claymont SEPTA Station and a small subdivision. 03/23/04

U.S. 13 leads north a short distance to the east end of SR 92 (Naamans Road). I-495 ends at I-95 within the interchange with SR 92, but without access. 03/23/04

This assembly was replaced with a monotube in 2017. The I-95 overhead was removed prior to 2016. 06/03/12

Guide signs along the off-ramp at Exit 5. U.S. 13 (Philadelphia Pike) crosses the Pennsylvania state line into Marcus Hook within one mile to the north. Southward the US highway intersects Darley Road nearby. 12/16/05

Two lanes peel away from I-95 south for I-495 south just beyond the Pennsylvania state line. A replaced guide sign references forthcoming Exit 6 with SR 92 (Naamans Road) at Claymont. 07/27/07

All overheads posted at Exit 6 were replaced and their lighting fixtures removed. Delaware Memorial Bridge appears as a destination for I-495 south for its connection with I-295 north. 07/27/07

Interstate 495 south lines Woods Haven Kruse Park from I-95 to a parclo interchange (Exit 5) with U.S. 13 (Philadelphia Pike). This ground level sign was replaced. 03/27/04

This ground level sign posted ahead of Exit 4A onto adjacent U.S. 13 (Governor Printz Boulevard) was replaced after 2004. 05/20/07

Overheads at Exit 4 were replaced and their lights removed after 2004. 03/27/04

I-495 south at U.S. 13 (Exit 4B). A monotube replaced this sign bridge in 2017. 12/25/12

Exit 4A looped away from I-495 south to Edgemoor Road and the southern end of SR 3. 05/20/07

The next exit departed in one mile for 12th Street. This sign was replaced in 2004. 03/27/04
