Jackson Street expands to three lanes southwest from SR 9 (4th Street) through to SR 48 (2nd Street / Lancaster Avenue). 04/14/14

Approaching Delaware 48 (Second Street) west on Jackson Street. Delaware 48 provides the main route between Wilmington and the MSR 41 corridor near Hockessin. MSR 41 leading northwest to U.S. 30 east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. 04/14/14

2nd Street carries Delaware 48 west from U.S. 13 Business (Walnut Street) in LOMA through the Hilltop neighborhood to Delaware 2 (Lincoln / Union Streets). 04/14/14

An overhead assembly directs motorists from I-95 south to SR 48 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard) east to SR 4 (Maryland Avenue) and the Wilmington Train Station. 04/14/14

SR 4 ends at SR 48 just east of the Wilmington Viaduct. The state route leads west through the Browntown neighborhood toward Richardson Park and Newport. 04/14/14

A second trailblazer for SR 4 on Jackson Street at Lancaster Avenue. MLK Boulevard, named Wilmington Boulevard until 1989, extends SR 48 east to LOMA. 04/14/14

The former 1961-installed overhead at Jackson Street and Lancaster Avenue. The on-ramp combines with a second ramp joining SR 48 (2nd Street) west before merging onto the freeway. 04/14/14
