Hospital trailblazers were added over the right lane on overheads in 1985 for SR 7 when Christiana Hospital opened. 04/30/04

This sign bridge was added at the second crossing of the Christina River by 2008. A lane drop occurs in one mile for Exits 4B/A to SR 58 (Churchmans Road) and SR 1/7. 10/03/04

Exit 4B links I-95 with SR 7 north via SR 58 (Churchmans Road) west. The ramp was the only serving SR 7 until 1976 when the loop ramp to SR 7 south opened to traffic. 03/27/04

Greenouts for Churchmans Crossing covered Metrform, the original name of the planned development at the crossroads of SR 4 and SR 7. 03/27/04

During the month of December 2004 the sign for Exit 4B was removed; by April of 2005 a replacement was installed. 05/01/05

Overheads for Exits 4B/A were again replaced by 2010 to coincide with a new cantilever added to support northbound signage. Beaches was added as a third destination for Exit 4A. 06/26/10

A lone remaining four lane pull through panel for Interstate 95 south to Newark and Baltimore was used until 2013 ahead of Exit 4A. It was replaced with an APL for the flyover to SR 1/7 south. 06/26/10

Bridge supports taking shape for the Churchmans Road (SR 58) overpass replacement. The $13.1 million project began in Spring of 2004 and was completed by December 2005. The 800-foot long bridge replaced the original span to the east.1 12/21/04

SR 1 was extended northward to Interstate 95 in April 1993. Guide signs omitted Dover for the state route until 2008. 04/30/04

The former loop ramp (Exit 4A) for SR 1/7 southbound. This exit resulted in weekday congestion between 2:30 and 6:30 PM. 03/27/04

The ground level replacement guide sign for SR 1/7. The overpass carrying the c/d roadway included space allocated for an unconstructed roadway leading west. 06/12/10
