Interstate 25 Wyoming - North


By 2010, the Wyoming welcome sign on I-25/U.S. 87 north was changed to read "Wyoming - Forever West." 11/12/05

The first distance sign on I-25 north was replaced around 2008 with the same information yet with Clearview font rather than FHWA Highway Gothic font. 09/01/04

The Cheyenne distance sign was replaced again after 2016, but again with Highway Gothic font. 08/14/16

Through the 1990s and 2000s, the Wyoming Department of Transportation placed signs such as this one upon entering the metropolitan area of the larger cities in Wyoming. These blue service signs would provide radio station information to inform motorists of changing weather and traffic conditions. 09/01/04

With the advent of satellite radio, wireless Internet, and other sources of information, weather info signs with radio frequencies became less frequently found around Wyoming. This sign assembly was removed by 2014. 08/02/10

Terry Ranch Road east to U.S. 85 was the alignment of U.S. 87 until Interstate 25 was built. 09/01/04

This sign for Exit 2 using Clearview font was replaced by 2025 with a panel using Highway Gothic font. 08/14/16

Wyoming uses nearly every style imaginable for its gore point exit signs. This style used Texas standards. 09/01/04

This confirming marker assembly posted after WY-224 was gone by 2010. However, a new assembly was added by 2016. 09/01/04

The port of entry signs along Interstate 25 north ahead of Exit 7 were changed from FHWA font to Clearview font sometime between 2008 and 2010. 09/01/04
