It would be nice to have one in DFW so North Texas can have there mini meet up. The location should be near I 635.

You can plan one and host it.  We have a primer on how to host a road meet: https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=9498.0

Hold on there tiger, we still have some 2024 left.  Though the list of crossed-out meets has been exhausted ;)

We'll apply the silly putty after Thanksgiving.

I don't see the problem with both threads being stickied until the end of the year.

Makes me wonder where he'll advertise it.

Probably the Road Meets group on Facebook.

I'm looking at hosting a meet in Washington County, MD (and across the river into WV) this summer. (Currently thinking July?)

I'm looking around the Potomac River and along the C&O Canal. On the MD side would include Wilson, Williamsport, Antietam. On the WV side, Falling Waters and Harpers Ferry.

Quad State II: Electric Boogaloo?

Sounds interesting, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit it in or not.  It's tempting, however.

Also not sure about the Hudson Valley one, now that I know I'll likely have a civil service test jammed in early May.  2025 is sure filling up fast (though I do like having a good idea of what my year will look like this early).

I will keep this in mind, if I can swing a Saturday off and Steph is off the whole weekend then we are both in!

Hahaha I may just have to call it Quad State II: Electric Boogaloo and find a point of interest in PA!

Valerie, when in August were you thinking of having your meet? The best dates for me right now are Saturday, July 19th or 26th, but if you're thinking early August then I'll consider doing it earlier or later in the summer.

Good to hear that you're interested, Jason!

August is fairly open for me right now as far as I know; I was planning on scheduling after I got a firmer idea of when the family picnic will be (almost always July, but early August has happened), perhaps with a poll.  Right now I would consider August 9 or August 16 to be the most likely dates.

Definitely interested in both Quad-State II and Brattleboro.

Washington County and Brattleboro seem interesting and doable for me, especially if I'll be in New Jersey and if those meets are in the summer.

As of right now, August 9 is the date I'm looking at.  Once I know when the family picnic is going to be, I'll make a final pick and formal announcement.  But since the family picnic is almost always in July, I don't expect the date to change.

I am looking at doing my North Pittsburgh Meet in May (after Mother's Day) or June (not corresponding with Brandon's meet that I will probably attend).

Where in Brattleboro would we meet? I'm also a DOT employee - I work as a project manager for MassDOT.

I have to pick a new restaurant after the one I was looking at last year closed down (too bad - it had parking and was right next to the old bridge, would have been perfect).
