I see "build own", which makes this in a country that has English as one of its main languages. I also see mixture of green and blue signs, which is very European. Given right-hand drive, and given a short list of English speaking countries, my pick is Belize.

Nope, no such roundabouts in Belize. Somewhere in the Caribbean, then.

Brandon

I sincerely doubt it is in the Caribbean.  I've been to some of those places, and the ones that could have them looking like this (Grand Cayman) don't.  I've been to Belize.  It definitely is not Belize.  It's a place where they drive on the right side of the road (rules out most former British colonies).

That there's a bit of English in the photo tells us nothing. Bits of English show up all over the world in advertising and whatnot, even in countries that don't speak it.
If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

I'm thinking it's somewhere in Guanghzhou/Shenzen.

Blue signs, red flag, palm trees, cars on the right, weird mix of wealth and poverty, potential isolated English signage,  roundabouts, a decent number of sedans (sedans are popular in China as they are here. Much of the rest of the world prefers hatchbacks), the park is brand new.  Billboard aside, that screams southern China.

agentsteel53

China uses blue signs?

then again, the only signs I've seen were from the Beijing area, so it may be a lot less homogeneous than I imagine.

I think they use a mix- I'm not sure what gets when why, but there are definitely blue navigation signs

I don't think it's in China -- the signs appear to be in English-alphabet letters.

Looks too warm to be Switzerland, which would fit the flag and sign colours.

I'm going with Albania, just to be different.

I'd go with Turkey.  The billboard seems to be advertising holiday houses (. . . evin in Turkish).

I'm going to guess that it's in Adana, Turkey, just across the river from the Sabanci Central Mosque, and that he probably took the picture from somewhere up on the mosque given the angle looking down at the roundabout.

you have to identify the specific window of the mosque out of which the photo was taken, and what color the photographer's eyes are.   :sombrero:

Looks Like somewhere in Florida

Lightning Strike

For the first pic (1995hoo) I want to say somewhere on the Pacific Northwest, but not 100% certain. As for  Brandon's there's a British Flag flying, which makes me think that it could be Florida but at the same time might be something int he Carribean.

1995hoo: Juneau, Alaska?
Brandon: British Virgin Islands or the Cayman Islands (both British territories to this day)?
