Tiny US and route shields other than mile markers

I was amazed how Rhode Island sign the US 1 and RI 122 split in Pawtucket with not only a little green sign, but a very petite US and RI route shields as well.

Any other finds like this other than traditional mile markers?

I have seen them on street signs (specifically, US 30 in Philadelphia and County 537 in Camden).

Mercer County Hopewell Township loves to use rather small county route markers for their street name signs.

Those of us who were at last year's Portsmouth, NH meet (when the US 1 bridge was still closed for construction repairs) may remember seeing some orange contruction signs that had small US 1 shields on them.

RI is terrible at consistently signing US 1 through Providence and Pawtucket.

Found these really small shields/markers on the US 1 Freeway when you are about to enter Trenton:

I don't think I would notice them if I were going anywhere near highway speed driving past those signs.

I wouldn't count this one for purposes of this thread. While the route sign is separate from the mile marker sign, the purpose of this one seems to be to achieve the effect of an enhanced reference marker sign without fabricating an entirely new mile marker with all the information on one panel.

Well, time to bring this thread back.

If you look above the arrow on the right sign, there is a tiny ON 11 shield with "one block north" written next to it. I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to read that.. 

The signs have since been replaced with better, more decent signs.
